As far as I can tell, the mytyres site has very cunning cookie tracking and the price goes up a little each time you refresh the page...forcing a panic buy. If you look from a completely different machine, you'll likely start again at a lower price.

Agree that Delti are huge but it all just seemed very odd that they wouldn't ship without a bank transfer. I even contacted them on his behalf, giving them my order reference number to try and prove he was a trusted person, but they still wouldn't ship without cash in advance.

How was he going to pay? As it doesn't sound like it was by card from what you are saying. If that is the case, I am not surprised they would not ship without a transfer. If not, it would seem odd.

Well, just got my car back from Lexus and after the warranty work, the big 60k service plus aircon service the car feels wonderful!

Lexus also had in stock some Pirelli winter tyres! So I'm booked in to get them fitted! They are for a Lexus IS250 225/45/17. I have 225/55/17 and after looking at a tyre calc my speedo will under-read by 5mph, but that should be the only difference.

After watching on youtube vids showing summer, all weather and winter tyres differences I can't believe how good winter tyres are for rear wheel drive cars. I'm determined to drive in snow and not get stuck on a slight icy incline!!!!
