How Do Is200 Head Light Washers Work?

Recommended Posts

Ive got an IS200 and the front headlight washers wont pop out. This morning i have just resolved the problem i had with the pipe coming off on the drivers front side which fed water to the washers. Now i have put the pipe back on the washers make the noise of trying to squirt the water yet they dont pop out? How do they work, is it off a motor or do they pop out with the water pressure?

Could anyone give us idea to why they are not working?? Cheers dan

If the pipe was off the washer, make sure you dont have an air lock!

Gently lift each washer jet up from the bumper, you my get a gurgle sound, this is water been drawn back into the pipes, do both sides.

Had this prob after i had my front bumper painted, and they had to take the jets off.

Hope this helps.
