Speed Information Cable For Navigation

Greetings from finland. I have a problem to find this speed information cable, i need it for kenwood navigation system. if someone can help me i would be very happy. The lexus is ls400 -96.

Welcome to the LOC here in the UK.

Not sure why the Kenwood needs this connection but I would assume it increases the volume automatically as the speed increases like some satellite navigation systems do.

The speed sensor is located on the transmission I believe and this is then fed to the ecu and then to the speedometer.

You really need the wiring diagram to locate the required wiring, you can get cheap CD ROM copies on eBay.

thanks alot of this information. I was thinking the same about this why navigator needs speed information fron gearbox.
