Lexus Rx330 Water Pump Issues

Is it normal for a Lexus RX330 to have a failing Water Pump after 90,000 miles? I took it to an independant grage who told me the Water Pump is leaking and as a result the Timing Belt would also have to be changed. He quoted me £580.

Hi well it all depends,had my cambelt changed at 55,000,and the water pump was found to be leaking slightly so had that changed as well, both cost me £595.Its best having both changed,and as both are inter linked you really dont pay any extra in terms of labour apart from the cost of the water pump.Hope this helps.
