Cold Start Trouble

Hi all basically when it's cold or first time for the day starting my car it won't start unless I bilp the throttle once as I'm turning it over it fires up no trouble.. Quite strange.. But anyone had the same thing if so what's up :o I'm thinking something to do with a auto choke? Or am I far off the mark?

I get that from time to time. In fact it happens more if I restart after say 1 hour (lukewarm). I think it is the auto choke thing sticking. Just tapping the throttle before starting usually cures it.

so no way of not having to tap the throttle?? anyone? :o

Best option is to take off the throttle body and give a good clean with carb cleaner. Hopefully it will resolve he issue. Try this first as it is diy and wont cost you anything.
