Transponder Coding

Recommended Posts

hello again

bought a key today via fleabay

as my is200 only came with one

i know i cannot use the blade, or change it

as it looks to be sealed, but i'd like

obviously to re code it to my car, i have found

the page with directions on doing this, but is it

the same process for all cars? or different for earlier models

such as mine?

regards

Hi, you will have to have the key/blade cut using your current key and then programme it using the directions/instructions on here or i could forward it to you as i have also got them.

i don't know how to remove the old blade as they are sealed so i'll have to buy an empty blank and swap the transponder to that i suppose? :tomato:

hi,hope you can find a good key cutter, take your old one with you and he should be able to cut the blade on the new one using the old one as a template, you could then swap the transponder over to the new one.
