Another Err3 Topic

Recommended Posts

Helloooo, this is the story. Im doing to do my stereo lights again with the tiny LED's as i did before, and like before i want a practice run, so i have just brought a top loading cd player with err3 off eBay for the bargain price i think of 99p!

now, depending on if i totally mess it up or not, how difficult is it to repair an err3? as if i do the LED conversion right, and fix the err3, i can potentially sell it on again, and make a tidy profit as im sure a blue LED converted cd player would grab a few peoples eyes.

Anybody successfully fixed an err3?

I'v had the error3 on my stereo before, was just a stuck cd.

Had to remove all cd's and reset the cd trays inside by hand,(wind them back with the internal cogs) took a few goes but that seemed to do the trick!

Hope this helps.

You have to open the top (mines a top loading Cd player!) to reveal the cd's, and you will also see some white cogs, i just wound the cogs till the Cd's were free so they could be slid out the loading slot. I only had 2 stuck Cd's so didn't take too long.
