Side Lights Won't Switch On

Hello all

New to this club and after a bit of advice. I have an IS200 2002 reg. Both side lights won't switch on (all other lights work properly including main lights on auto). Fuses are good, is it likely it's the Light control relay in the main fuse box? If not, any other ideas are more than welcome!!

on the wee wedge bulbs the metal contacts sometime move so they do not connect with the holder. try bending them out and straight up

Thanks for the reply! Yep, bulbs all good, replaced them as well just in case and the contacts seem good and clean. Makes a change this defect as most people seem to have problems with lights not turning off!

What did you replace them with? LED or standard filament type?

Also, if you sit in the car with the engine off in a quiet location and flick the switch on and off you should be able to hear the relay clicking, just something to check.

I put leds in that blew a fuse

Hi guys, just standard bulbs put in. I have ordered a relay for a fiver off eBay to see if it fixes it. If not, it could be a wiring or earthing fault I guess. I'll let you know how I get on! Thanks for the advice!
