The bad news is that we finally had to say a sad farewell to our RX400h. Because of a potential change in financial circumstances we could no longer justify the monthly payments.

This was the second 400h we have had and have absolutely loved them especially when we have travelled long distances on the continent in all sorts of weather conditions. They were absolutely faultless and the most comfortable vehicle we have ever travelled in.

The better news is that we haven't abandoned Lexus entirely as we have just bought a 2004 IS200 sport outright so no monthly payments. We bought it from Lexus Teeside and although it has 91000+ on the clock it is in immaculate condition apart from a few minor blemishes that the dealer is in the process of rectifying. Although we live in Buckinghamshire we did all the dealings by phone and the dealer even arranged for the car to be delivered for no extra charge!

So for now it is goodbye to you all on the RX forum (no doubt we will be back in the future) and hello to the IS forum!
