Headlight Whasher (Actuator) Replacement

Recommended Posts

Hi All

i am new to this forum as i have just bought a Lexus and would appreciate some friendly advice.

Not long after i got the car the passenger side healight cleaner flew over my bonnet hit the windscreen and dissapeared into oblivion. Leaving a rather crap looking hole in the bumper. Minus the jet nozzle. It looks like the nozzle has snapped of the actuator and taken the bumper cover with it. I have managed to source the parts for £80 :-) well chuffed as Lexus quoted me £231, rip off britain coming to the fore yet again.

Was just wondering how easy it would be to replace the parts myself or should i take it to a garage for them to do.

Oh i am also looking to upgrade the sound system in the car as well, not going to replace the speakers as they are pretty decent as standard, but i will be replacing the stereo, not sure whether double din or standard single

Many thanks in advance

Goose
