Drivers Seat Belt Frayed / Damaged - Help Sourcing One Please

Recommended Posts

Hi folks,

My drivers side front seat belt id heavily frayed/damaged and I need a new one. well a replacement of course. used or new. Ive searched on a popular auction site and all I find is pretty much every seat belt but the one I need, or a seller only willing to sell me a whole set for £60+

does anyone know where I can source one? apart from being a safety concern I believe this will also be an MOT failure. I specifically need a black one.

Furthermore, has anyone had to replace theirs? and is it easy to do?

Thanks in advance

:)

Usual sources as you say fleabay good place to start, try searching for breaking lexus is and try give them a ring. £60 for a full set of 5 belts isnt a bad price, thats about £12 for 1. But can see what you mean if you only need the front.

Not replaced one yet but looks like 2 bolts and some trim, you will need to disconnect Battery as well as its linked to the side airbag somehow I think.
