What Should Be Illuminated?

Hi all

Ref RX400h 2007

Can anyone tell me if the electric mirror controls and the seat memory switches should be illuminated at night if the lights are on?

It seems starnge to me that you can't see either in the dark unless you open your door! If this is correct then fine I'll have to grin and bear it but if they should be lit up then I need a trip to my dealer!
