Dab Upgrade?

Hi,

Does anyone have experience of the DAB upgrade option on the CT200h?, is it worth having as a factory fitted option, how is DAB from a moving car? Any info approciated

Yes i got the Dab upgrade because i live in a poor area for normal reception

it works perfectly.

the aerial sticks to the top left corner of the windscreen and no fade outs when i go on long journeys

very pleased i got it

My CT has dab too and I quite impressed with it, very few drop outs and nice sound and best of all I can listen to absolute 80s :)

Brian, was your upgrade a retrofit or on build? I currently don't have the DAB module, just wondered how much you were charged to have it fitted.

See the last page - £360 fitted seems a bit much for a plugin module and a windscreen stick on aerial.

I believe it was retrofit due to different optional extras other countries offer.

In the states they offer sat radio as an extra fitted at point or port of entry (poe)

I live in such a lousy area for reception it was worth it for me and yes it was £360.

When I was ordering mine with factory fitted DAB I was told that a retrofit was more expensive due to the labour to remove the old and then fit the new complete with ariel - I think it was around £580

Maybe mine was factory fit the interior looks like its never been touched
