I know a 2003 Ls430 had Dunlop as factory tyre. Probably the 2001 as well

Thanks for that. I have michelin primacy tyres on mine, I think the last owner put them on there, they make a hell of noise though.

They were fitted with Dunlops (Made in Japan), my car still had the unused original spare when I bought it.

Your lucky,the last owner on mine put michelin on it. They are all michelin primacy, but the one that's making the loud noise is michelin pilot primacy. I wish I had the dunlop tyres

So, the tyres have been changed, but the noise is still there

Guys please help. Does anyone else's ls430 make a slight humming sound when going over 20mph, but when u get to around 40mph, the sound gets abit lower, but its still there. Is it just me? I had an ls400 and that was quiet, I couldn't hear a single sound when I was driving that car. The sound is not coming from the engine, its coming from the underneath the car, and wheels, I've had it checked by lexus, bearings are good, bushes are good, tyres are good, although 1 tyre was abit wonky, but I've changed that now, and its still the same.
