Dvd Ls430?

just wondering while i am here that if our sat nav is dvd based,does that mean we have a dvd player in our car? 2004 or onwards? thanks.

Likelyhood is it's a DVD ROM and reads discs like a computer rather than play DVD films. I dunno. Could always put a film in and have a go? Suspect the reader is in the boot but I don't know as I don't yet own a 430

My Ls430 53 plate has a DVD based sat nag, the DVD unit is located in the boot, remove the cover over the spare wheel, now look to the right of the wheel you will see a panel that can be removed, the DVD sat nag unit is located in there.

And it don't play movies, or music discs
