Had Key Cut Need And Only Works In Door

Had key cut need and only works in door and want it to work in boot and glove box. Looks like master has filed ending of key and copy is not angled. Cost £6 just for key only. Got it for winter to unlock doors when frozen as only one main key and remote broken so resorted to unlocking manually each time. Any advice? Thinking of filing edges. Would this work. Key works in ignition if next to master key

Hi,you could give it a try and see if it works,if not, have you got your key number in your service history book or a chrome tag attached to any of your keys(with a number on it)?as I can give you a guys email add/number who can cut you a key just from the key number(that is assuming the keyes/locks have not been changed),hope this helps.

Filed key and now locks glove box and goes in to boot lock but just won't open it. Engine starts if main key next to it on bunch so ok till I can get a new alarm fob done. Need a 3fob remote key complete and programming to car. £160 at lexus
