It is also the brake fluid level warning lamp.

For the bonnet, check the lever fully returns when you pop the bonnet, other than that, I would check and grease the catches.

Hi, what Tigerfish ment is that the low brake fluid light is the same light as the handbrake light, so if your brake fluid is low the handbrake light will come on, it could also mean that your front pads are low.

it could also mean that your front pads are low.

Gen 2 GS's don't have electric pad wear indicators, only the metal spring clips that scrape the disk and make a racket when they get too low.
