Sat Nav Radio Problem

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hey guys

A mechanic friend of mine said he would be able to fit a new head unit to my 2002 is200 (and has done).

Only problem is, is that mine has the built in pop out sat nav. He told me that he had to wire the radio into the sat nav wiring so that when the sat nav is turned on the radio volume dies down or something to that effect.

Does anyone have the sat nav and radio wiring diagrams that he can look out to work out what he needs to do??

Or even better could they post how to do it so I can relay the information on to him.

Thanks in advance

You can download the full manual HERE it contains the full electrical diagrams for radio.

Just for info, the satnav should intercept the front door speaker output from the amp, not the radio headunit.
