Hi guys been away a while but just bought my 2nd is200, had her a couple if weeks now and looking at doing a mini service just the filters and oil really..... my main question is really the oil filter... I have been looking at the HKS oil filter.... it claims 30% better flow my main worry is the vvti as it runs on oil pressure so could this damage it or maybe make it kick in earlier or later? Any advice much welcomed

Also spark plugs.... I have been looking at the Bosch super 4s.... has anyone used this before my friend that used to work for Toyota said I should only use iridiom tipped plugs otherwise they will burn out very quickly... anyone any experiences or advice?

Thanks guys :)

You must use iridium plugs, it doesn't like any other plugs. Avoid Bosch as well. For some reason it doesn't like Bosch either even if they are iridium. Use Denso iridium (OEM) or NGK iridium.

As for the oil filter again go OEM and you won't have any problems.
