Is200 Swap Engine With Is300?

Hey everyone,

I have found a decent engine from an is300 (inspected and in good condition with 65k roughly on the clock) and while I wasn't thinking about it before, I am starting to get the itch for more power in my is200.

What else (apart from the engine) would need to be changed in my car if i were to fit the is300 engine?

Also, if anyone knows, how much would the fitting cost in a decent mechanic and, one of the most important questions, would any insurance company in the UK actually insure a car with a swapped engine (I had trouble finding info on this)?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Thanks guys. So, I will scrap the idea alltogether.

I actually really love this car so I won't be changing it anytime soon. I might look into a used tte supercharger kit if one crops up at a reasonable price in the future.

Thanks again.
