Quite a few of the dealers will if they know you are genuinely interested :D & some used to let you have them for a weekend though I'm not sure if they do that anymore ;)

Ohh and remember to take I.D. with you as they will no doubt want a copy of it before they entrust you with their car :)

Letting you go it alone may invalidate their trader insurance. If they do allow it they'll need a considerable amount of ID including photo Driving Licence and possible a utility bill as proof of address

For an insurance charge of £10 Lexus of Poole will provide a loan car whilst they service yours. They will also collect & deliver at no cost

A few years ago they let me have the old is200 for a day. But 1 year ago I test drove the new GS300 and is250 sport. And the sales guy came with me, had about half hour in each.

Had LS460 for half day unaccompanied from Lexus Coventry about 3 yrs ago(and charged Battery up for them whilst driving) whilst my car was being serviced. Might be because I have used dealership for 10+ yrs but never been asked for ID.
