P0141 O2 Sensor Fault

Hi all, got a P0141 fault today on the IS300, for the Bank 1 Sensor 2 O2 sensor, got a quote from toyota and its £196, ouch... does anyone know where I can source a new part without splicing wires if I get a generic Denso, but at a better pricing?

U can just get a part from lexus and i don't think is 196!!, I just change my bout 2 months ago.

Stev ,ive just looked on eBay at lots half that price.

It's one on eBay and its from Toyota only £78 brand new, I think price that u been quote is including labour too that is so expensive.

Thank for your help I got the part number (8946553210) no it was just for parts, because I called the local toyota dealer parts department thinking it will be a cheaper route.

196 for sensors!!, that's just too much ,I will check the invoice when I got home.

The one you mention on eBay is this item number 310590106083, as it say for 89465-53150 8946553150, or you think it will still work since the part I got off Toyota was 8946553210. I just called lexus Croydon, £163+vat parts only, so I definitely need help to source it to fix this P0141.

Give japarts a ring and giv them ur parts number. I think the sensor are the same but only different is how is the wire , I know bank 1 sensor 2 rite on the button of header , so this could be different to the bank 1 sensor 1 on the wire but could be wrong , give a japarts I'm sure they are happy to help you.

Hi stevlee quick update on O2 sensor , I did pay 166.77 for it from lexus!!, didn't know they was that expensive.

Try 2nd hand ,it may be worth your while in the short term.

I tried Japarts, but they don't have stock, they have to get it from Toyota. However it seems for Denso part no DOX-0205 is a direct replacement for Toyota 8946553210, if someone can confirm??? then I will be a happy bunny since it is only £62 without using Universal O2 Denso sensor where I have to splice wire.
