Question Re. Rx450H Headlights

I've noticed the swivelling headlights on my RX450 only swivel when turning the wheel while driving along and not when at stand still.

I'm not sure whether this is normal or a fault, as it would still be useful to have the lights swivel at standstill. A friend with a BMW 5 series once showed me how his car's lights swivelled and that was when turning the wheel at standstill.

Could any RX450 owners shed some light on this?

I believe the 450h works the same as the 400h, it is by design that it doesn't swivel at stand still. The system adjusts the amount of swivel based on steering angle and vehicle speed.

I don't know enough about the BMW system but maybe it isn't as sophisticated a system and only uses steering angle to determine the amount of swivel.
