Welcome to the club Jason, Yes it's normal..is200 is more of a cruiser than a sports car, will shift a bit quicker around 4k revs when the vvti kicks in.......and the petrol drops... :)

Thanks Ian, perhaps it was the nice sound it made that made me think it had a bit more poke. Im happy with it anyway and as im getting into my 40's my boy racer days are coming to an end lol

Nah the IS200 isnt a fast car, have to say i was surprised when i saw the figures for the first time but also didnt bother me. I wouldnt call it under powered either its got enough to live with i think and I rarely need to rev into VVT-i range (4500ish)

Anyway welcome, glad your enjoying the car and glad you decided to come on board the LOC :)

Ha haa, yes I am a photographer. Give me chance only had the car couple days. gave it a clean today. Will take a couple of pics tomorrow perhaps.
