hello

i have had my RX400h for 4 months and started opening the bonnet to check the levels a month ago.

Something i find a bit unusual is that when i visually check the brake fluid tank level in the engine bay,

when i look at it straight on it looks like it is on minimum level, however, when i look at it from the side of the engine bay it looks full,

and lastly when i take off the top and look inside, the level is indeed full to the top!

anyone else found this?

brakes are operating normally.

thanks

jason

Looking at it straight on, through the little cut out in the plastic covering gives me a good reading. Not always easy to see the level so I may have to give it a little shake.

Looking at it from the right, not sure if I'm actually seeing the fluid due to the design of the tank, and there are no min/max markings there anyway.
