Glovebox Questions

Hi all, second post - first two questions.

I have just bought a 2006 RX400h, as I'm the curious type, I've been looking around to see what can be reached and what can't.

I took the two clips out of the sides of the glove box to get a better look behind it and noticed 2 possible problems. The first one is that there's a screw down near the bottom of the glove box, the screw isn't screwed fully in and has nothing attached to it. Anyone got any idea what it is?

The second thing I noticed is a white thing with a black wire coming out of it, the wire doesn't go anywhere. Again, do any of you know what it is and where the wire should go?

The wire is actually the glovebox retaining strap which loops over your lonely screw.

Yours has come adrift.
