hi have you only got one key?your key should still open the drivers door manually by inserting the key into the lock.if you have a second key try that and see.

Yes mate, scudney is right, there is no reason your key wont open the door manually. When my Battery died a while back it was the only way i got in the car but worked fine. Cannot believe the key wouldnt open the door? im wondering if you cannot, then someone has got a 2nd hand fob, reprogrammed it to your car but either lost the original key or not transfered the old one to new fob. My car came with 2 keys. The car would of had 3 when new. how many do you have?

And no i dont know how to open the bonnet any other way  smash a window?

Hope you've not smashed a window yet ! A trick used in the motor trade if the boot can be opened with the key manually, you pull off the wires to the boot light , add a positive and negative feed to the wires this should power up the cars electrics enough to get the doors open with the remote key. If you belong to the AA or RAC they may used the same trick.
