Alarm Goes Off

I wonder if any body can help me with this??

I have 2003 GS300 se and the problem is this.

When i lock the car with the remote the car locks OK but it could be any time between 1 and 10 mins and then the alarm goes off.

But if i lock the car with the key in the door No problem.

Question is there a motion sensor inside the car and where is it?

Is there any way of turning off or disabling it.

Because i think it is it.

Help please!!

I get the exact same problem, the alarm goes off and it's so annoying.

I've had a look for spiders, flies & the likes with no results

Check that you don't have any large metallic objects in the centre front arm rest.

I had a large bag of change and tha was enough to randomly set the alarm off. I believe the sensor is located in there

I've got loose change and all sorts in there

It is that, any metal things in there, I left my mobile phone in there and that sets the alarm off.

i have emptied every thing out of the car. Only Thing i left in it was what you when new IE Handbook in glove box.

The alarm didn't go of for about a hour then away it went again.

Right pain in the A***

What condition is the Battery in, I used to get similar problems when my Battery was on its way out too.

Battery was replaced in May this year.
