Had My Rx450 For 3 Weeks

upgraded from IS220 which never let me down in 4 years, love the RX450 had a trip up to York last week 264 mile round trip got 46mpg so very happy

Never had more than 34 mpg in mine since I bought in March. Obviously doing something wrong. That is all sorts of roads and length of journeys.

i was trying extra hard just to see what i could get, but having seen other posts was suppried to get 46mpg

Interesting as I have owned my RX450h just over 3 weeks too! I bought mine in York and got 46 MPG on the return journey. Never repeated that since but have only been driving shorter journeys and averaging 34 MPG. The better consumption must be long motorway driving?

My average reading since I zeroed all readings about May this year is 30.7 mpg. I have covered about 2500 miles since then on all sorts of roads. Long journeys on M6/M40 a couple of times and some on the A55 to North Wales and also town and country roads and the read outs on any including the 'since last fill up' has never shown any higher than 34mpg. But I don't hang around so that is probably why. I think to achieve figures in the 40's would detract from the enjoyment of driving such a beautiful motor.
