Major Service

Ok my car will be coming up for major service soon, so I will need some advice on what is normally done and appox costs.

Cambelt

Spark plugs (done 16000 miles)

Already changed oil earlier this year

Brake fluid?

Anything else necessary let me know

If the plugs are iridium plugs ,they may do 90,000 miles,its easy to do the brake fluid yourself.If you do the cambelt do the water pump too as it has to be removed.I would think from about £350 upwards depending on who you use.

Thanks Ian, ive been quoted £250 for the cambelt and fitting and water pump also, not sure if that includes the fitting of the water pump but don't see why they would need to charge extra if it has to come off anyway.

Yes spark plugs are iridium :)

Just found out I need to replace my front brake pads also

brake pads are easy and im sure theres a thread on here for this,that doesnt sound bad for the work,id take them up on that.
