Bluetooth Handsfree Kit

Is there any way to improve the sound on the handsfree kit via Bluetooth and my Iphone. It just sounds really muffled and seems to use the small speakers. My car is the 2004 Ls430.

Just guessing here, but if its an after-market install, perhaps the installer picked the wrong speakers to tap into?

I have a Parrot kit on my LS400 and it sounds fine

i think the chap is reffering to the inbuilt Bluetooth on the 430 - the system is quite old is one of the very first ones and does have limited capablilites for example you are unable to push contacts lists etc and like you said sound quality is no great.

I would say bite the bullet and get an aftermarket system fitted - i have one and there is only a small control dial on the spare blank on the left hand side of the steering to see - otherwise very discreet and very good quality

I've just bought, pre-owned, one of those Bluetooth speakers that clips onto the sun visor. Cheap, cheerful and does the job really well.

i used to have one call "supertooth" - very good value and worked very well
