Excessive Steam From Exhaust

Hello

I am new to owning a Lexus and have a question which hopefully members on here can advise on.

I have a is250 2008 and get a considerable amount of steam from the exhaust whilst at the lights or in traffic. As soon as I accelerate, it goes away.

I'm certain it isn't smoke and it smells of steam. I also get the same humid/steam smell from the car heater in the cabin.

Normally I would expect the steam on a cold morning but I get this even after a long drive on the motorway.Even when it is relatively mild.

The car isn't losing coolant or at least it isn't losing a measurable amount.

Just to add: The car drives perfectly with no noticeable issues with acceleration and I have a tendency to drive very light footed and thus achieve around 32 MPG with mixed driving.

Any advice??
