Fuses Question

The gear lights next to the gearstick are not lit. Nor are the heated seat buttons. I opened the three fuse boxes (in engine, passenger and drivers location) and looked on the lids of the fuse box. Nothing is obvious. In fact one fuse I pulled out of the engine bit then produced a beep beep beep sound from the engine ! I quickly put it back in ! Any ideas before I have to take it back to Lexus ?

although the lights do not work on the seat switches do the seats actually heat up or not?

No I didn't ask the same question. I asked whether the gear lights were supposed to be lit up in the first place. I didn't ask about which fuse it might have been. Oh I'll have to take it to Lexus.
