55 Plate Is250Se Auto Low Speed Vibration Under Slight Acceleration

Hi,

I've Owned my 55 plate IS250SE Auto for 5 years now from 8000 miles to 76000 miles now and kept the service history with Lexus.

Anyway in the last few months I have been noticing if I am in traffic and the car is in 5th or 6th gear (auto), and the car is slowly accelerating through 1200 to 1800 rpm under load (ie up a slight incline) the car develops quite a vibration, I guess from the transmission, driveshaft or axle, it is quite noticable through the seat and the steering wheel, but I don't have a clue what or why this is? Has anyone had a similar issue, or have any ideas?

Regards

Andy
