Firstly, as others have said this is a rare occurrence. Secondly, when you say a dealer, do you mean a Lexus dealer? I ask as I bought an older and higher mileage GS430 from a Lexus dealer. Within two months the starter stopped working. After a bit of prodding I got them to collect the car and install a new starter foc.

Unusual for an engine to seize that quickly , normally would have to have overheating first and or using all the oil as coolant etc. Had it thrown a rod or something you'd have known about it . Sounds like you've been sold a pup and the previous owner

knew what they were doing selling it!
