Replacing 12V Battery

Hi,

Is this just a straightforward swap with a new one? Do I have to do anything before changing? Mine is nearly 10 years old now. Thanks.

no major problems changing the Battery

you just need to lower each window by its own door button then it will work from the drivers door.

Again you will have to reset the sunroof hold the switch to open the roof but keep it held until it opens fully and closes.

Why do you have to do that?

It reprogrammes the memory function for the auto shut/open sensor.

I just had to replace mine and I dropped into Lexus Leicester and they fitted it and did all the windows/boot/sunroof reprogramming at no extra charge while I waited :) Saved me the hassle of getting cold and I would have forgotten to do the reprogramming bit.
