Is200 Headlamps - Remove The Orange ?

Hi All,

Just wondering if there is a way to remove the orange from the headlights?

Looking to remove it and put a new clear indicator bulb in.

Bake headlights, split and it's removable. It isn't fixed or glued in. It's horrible but a pain the arris to remove. Then if you don't seal well you end up with condensation in the headlights, much more ugly than the orange filter!

It does sound like a pain the backside.

And knowing my luck, I wouldn't seal them correctly ! 😃

I just remember seeing a IS without the orange and thought it looked good. Might have been a U.S. Spec one though.

Deffinately a pain to do! Lol, i dismantled mine to fit halo rings in, & now sadly, i will have to remove them & the ballasts have gone! So will dismantle them again & while im at it, i though i may aswell de-chrome them!

Its a good idea but not worth the hassle imo. IS300 or LE clusters is what you want. Been told they can be retro fitted
