Your are more than likely right Rayaan on all points except a waste of money , where does it say if you do below 12K miles a year don't buy a luxury car like most people I work hard for my money and choose what to spend it on,and would not buy any other car I get pleasure from driving the car and all the years I have owned a lexus they have never let me down so realibilty YES comfort YES pleasure to drive YES waste of money NO

Ok last week had a phone call off my local Lexus dealer asking me if I wanted to trade my 2013 RX450h F-sport, my car has full service history and only done 17k miles and is immaculate so I said send me your figures for like for like on a 2016 model and will consider it. A few hours later I got an email saying we like to offer you 24K for your car !!! have I read this right 24K now who thinks like me that is a low ball offer, they are saying my car for the last 3 years has lost 10k a year do you agree with their valuation i would like your views needless to say I refused there offer. I cant comment on a 100k service but always had good customer service, and all work done to a high standard and for the price quoted ( I always ask for a price upfront and if any changes ring me first ) and when I did have issues with Lexus uk not ( Bolton ) they went that extra mile to get things sorted I will always go to Lexus Bolton.

Mine never made a noise going over a bump , as for the weather never noticed all I can say it always happened first thing in the morning or if i have gone somewhere and left the car to sit for a while. I would start the car set off either forward or reverse and as I turned the steering wheel clang which vibrated everywhere which ended up with many parts being replaced to the cost of lexus and after everything it was a faulty drivers side top strut mount like you I was at the end of my tether so much I was in talks with lexus uk with the not fit for purpose and poss sending the car back hope you get it sorted soon. I had the same problem a knocking sound ( like a clang ) only when cold in first or reverse gear when first setting off but because of the vibration of the noise we could not pin it down after numerous visits and many many parts being replaced lexus could not find the fault after several months of going back and fourth no joy even the visit of the so called lexus expert could not replicate the noise I even had the lexus mechanics on a few occasions come to my work place put the bonnet up an sit on the engine while I drove the vehicle slowly they hear the clang say ok take it away then a few days later drop it off saying fixed only to hear the noise the following morning so fed up spoke to a mechanic friend and he said straight away top mount I phoned lexus to book it in and change it hey presto no noise now a happy driver lol

I have just checked your car ct200h on a 2011 plate for the make and year on my paint machine and only one colour and code comes up which is Starfire white metallic palini code Lexus 077 or off the croma card M119 hope this helps regards peter

I had a similar problem a clanging noise on stopping or starting to move off after months of investigation by Lexus and various parts re-placed it turned out to be the top strut mount on the drivers side. hopes this helps peter.

Hello all I traded in last year a low mileage RX400H limited edition 09 plate for an F-SPORTS which I love to bits. But boy is my wife still giving me grief about it she loved the other car to bits and misses it and what made it worse is I never told her I just turned up in a shiny new Lexus expecting love and joy but was greeted by where's my Lexus and i want it back, I did go back after a few weeks after hoping she would fall in love with the new car but to no avail so off I went back to lexus to buy the old car back but it had been snapped up. So if the new owner of the car reads this can I have it back pretty please or at very least send photo and letter stating she is being looked after I am fed up of looking over my shoulder for the next flying object :D also I want first dibs on buying it if you decide to sell.

I want one and I want the L to spin as I drive :D

Hi Andy Yes booked it into the main dealer where I bought the car from first time I have paid for a service last car we got from lexus they included free servicing regards peter.

Morning All I have just booked my car in for it's first service only done 8000 from new and have been quoted £250 am I right in thinking the 1st service is just a oil filter and oil change, and a general check over regards peter.

Just had a quick look on my paint machine 212 comes up as obsidian black and 202 just comes up as black as earlier stated check your vin plate to be sure different paint manufacturer's use different names but the codes stay the same regards peter

Look at this site they have always got loads of lexus for salvage or selling on they don't sell parts just full cars you have to register as it is a live bidding site they have had some good buys of late www.copart.co.uk but check as you have to pick up they have sites all over the uk as well as the usa and Saudi happy hunting

Is DA and protection a company or products I am trying to find a good local detailer my last car I paid £150 to have it detailed by a local company and when I went to pick it up after he rang me to say he had finished I went round it was filthy inside and out after a few words found he had employed a mobile valet to wash it for him was not a happy chappy.so any recommendations please let me know regards peter.

When I bought my F-sports last year I made a point of asking for a touch up pen and they gave me one for free used it once so far

I did have my computer hacked a couple of years ago and I was with BT at the time and was paying for there security package when I discovered I had been hacked I rang Bt where I ended up being put through to a call centre in India where after explaining I was not happy and what where they going to do his parting words to me was well sir you are well and truly F***ed ( true story ) if I could have got hold of him .
