Driving Abroad

Anyone know if the headlights need adjusting for driving on the continent? Got my Merc Xenons centred whilst they serviced it and just left them at that when I got back to the UK.

I might be wrong but I think I read on here that the headlights are already Euro friendly and don't need adjusting or anything. Someone will chime in to confirm or correct.

Thanks DJP, hope there's a more sophisticated answer than headlight covers! I'd be surprised if all new number plates don't have GB on them. I'm think mine are offset to the left but I may be wrong, in fact I would prefer a little more reach on dipped bean on the straight ahead.

Just looked back in some posts and found the one I was looking for. Tel went to France last Sept and gave a great report, including that beam deflectors are not required.

The reg plates are Euro now too.

I agree with you on the beam reach, it's not great. Neither was it in the 2nd Gen. Nothing's perfect.
