Hi there! I just replaced mine with torsen diff from sport model. It is direct bolt on. Compared to open diff, LSD has better traction and better handling. Definitely, a very good upgrade. Just note, if you have an automatic transmission, than you need to replace crown & pinion to keep the same gear ratio.

I bought it from some UK car breaker for 185 GBP, shipped. Found it on eBay, just type "is200 sport breaking". That's very good price since the shipping was around 75-80 GBP.

Thank for getting back to me. It seen to be a good upgrade. What is the crown & pinion? i thought the crown & pinion was the diff?

Hi. "Crown & pinion" or "Ring & pinion" is a mechanical part of diff assembly that transfers rotation of propeller shaft to wheel's half shafts. The number of teeth defines it's gear ratio. Try to google it to figure out how it looks.
