Intermittant P0093 Code

:(Hi to all members, I am new to this site, but was hoping for some wisdom to my problem.

My 2006 IS220D has an intermittent P0093 code coming up, along with all the usual lights. This only happens in the first 500m of driving, sometimes twice forcing itself into limp mode. Once I have pulled over and restarted the car, lights stay on but car drives normally. The car was due to be booked in last week for diagnostic, but all lights went out the day before. When I explained this to the mechanic, along with the fact that I am looking to sell the car, he cancelled the booking. The following day all lights came back on and have remained on since, with the daily routine of pulling over a couple of tomes to restart and get out of limp mode.

I am now in a dilemma that I don't want to spend a lot on the car due to getting rid of it , but also would like it fixed before selling it !!!!

I would be grateful for any insight or ideas on what I could check for myself before going back for a diagnosis, Matt.

Cheers Colin, will check tonight when I leave work.

Did notice this morning, the car went into limp mode twice, but both times was after the car had dropped below 1000 revs ?

Not sure if this is relevant ??

Cheers Matt.

Hi Colin, thanks again but , looked at fuel cap and rubber seal looks fine, tightened cap as much as possible, but 500m down the road, went into limp mode again.

Do you or any other members know if there are any temperature sensors/switches involved with the fuel pressure or is the turbo linked with the fuel pressure, cheers Matt.
