How To Update Lexus Navigation System

Hi. I am getting to terms with my new CT200 Advance, but I cannot seem to find out how the Lexus Navigation system is updated.

Can anybody advise how this is achieved?

I am also LED to believe that an annual upgrade is available free of charge from Lexus. Is this true?

Appreciate any help the 'experts' on here can give me.

Updates to the cars software are notified from time to time. My understanding is you load these into a formatted but empty memory stick them place it in the USB port in the centre console and from there the software can be uploaded. I am not aware there have been any updates this year.

The 2014 does not have auto folding mirrors when locking and unlocking. Annoying when getting out when parallel parked on a street but my CRZ was the same so I'm used to it.
