Orange Light Under Dashboard

Hi all, I just bought a little wireless dongle that plugs into the diagnostic port under the dash so I can read faults, etc. it works brilliantly shows rpm, engine sensors, etc. I noticed that there is a little orange light a few inches to the left of the port (under the steering wheel) does anyone know what it's for? Just curious... Many Thanks

just a light without any buttons? do you have a picture you can post?

Mystery solved.... It comes on at night to light up the pedals/footwell never noticed it before! I love this car

Indeed a nice touch. Except if you haven't got a user manual. It only goes out when the card has been locked after doors are shut.

That drive me mad this afternoon and not easy to test unless you lock yourself in of course

It also has one in the passenger side footwell & every door handle recess.
