You may need to claim of car or house insurance if you don't have the master, it'll cost a packet. OK you lost them but what if somebody finds them, is there amy identity on them that means they can take the car or get in the house?

And here is how to do it for just over a tenner......

buy a brand new case from eBay for just a few quid..

have the key cut to your car.

buy a second hand genuine key for a few quid from eBay..

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LEXUS-3-BUTTON-REMOT...emZ270169345461

take out the electronics and fit to the newly cut case..

Reprogram the key for your car..

The links are just examples... there is always plenty available, both 3 and 2 button versions..

Not hard to do though. You only get 2 masters, over a few years one of them may well disappear. My IS only had one left and I got it from a dealer, and since they are expensive I didn't get another one made up. So sometimes you only need to lose one to find yourself in this situation, not all of them...
