  1. Should look something smilar to this with the MS kit.... http://www.rx8club.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=34790 Ash
  2. You may have noticed I'm good a posting pics! ;)
  3. I see where you are coming from, as a Peugeot owner you may have been used to things going wrong. Well fortunately for you with the Lexus hardly anything will go wrong, I’m sure you’re most disappointed now ;) Welcome and enjoy!!
  4. That wouldn't be too far off :winky: Ash
  5. The RX8 is fun to drive, with 230BHP and 9K+ redline it’s a complete different beast. I think the standard RX8 look a bit bland, I will be putting my order in for a Mazda Speed kit very soon, the exterior look I’m going for is this in black… I’ve opted for this interior… Ash
  6. I can honestly say it was a great car, late spec which had the full leather, dark housing front and rear lights and also had most of the optional extras including: satnav, styling kit and rear parking sensors. I also had the Prolex coilovers fitted which made a huge difference to handling IMHO. I will miss the car, but as you say am looking forward to the 8. Did consider the IS250 but I have to say it does not have the same appeal visually as the old model did for me personally. I will be back to Lexus sooner or later, they have some exciting things in the pipeline, give me enough time to save up :D Ash
  7. Sorry guys, sold the IS200 after 2 years ownership last week Best car I have owned for comfort and reliability, it did exactly what it said on the tin, I hope the new owner(s) will enjoy it as much as I did. I’m awaiting delivery of 230 model RX8 next weekend, already have lots planned for it. Thanks too all who helped me in the past and I wish you all well! Cheers, Ash
  8. Try 4....... I know how you feel, I too am going to the dark side. I love the Lexus for what it is and have had no issues what so ever but always had a yarning for the 8. I will be putting mine in for a part-ex next week. So if anyone wants a bargain PM me ;)
  9. Better pic here... http://www.g4crx.com/DSCF0069.JPG
  10. Shaggy (wasn't me) on the left and Scrappy Doo on the right, that must make you Scooby mate! ;) Ash
  11. Mine could be up for sale very soon :( It's not the sport though - SE with all the optional extra inc. styling kit, satnav and the benefits of the later model including full leather. Ash
  12. Unfortunately not the IS it’s still to new to mess around with the engine. It’s my other car, 1991 CRX siR which I have had for over 9 years. Currently in the process of swapping the bottom end with a forged jobbie, once that’s done I’ll be bolting on the GtiR spec T28. The engine is built to withstand around 500BHP, but I’m only looking to run around 250/260bhp as a daily driver and a bit more for track/pod. Anyway here are a few progress pics….. Out with the old.... ..and in with the new... Ash
  13. I would be interested in this too, sounds too good though....
  14. Drove the car to the station this morning, got stuck 3 times and had to be pushed, SNOW button on snow don't work too well :duh: Now show us yours :P
  15. Got some new shoes for my other Honda today.... Need to give it a good polish.
  16. What do you want to know specifically? Specs, price etc? Good general info on the CRX’s here… http://www.cr-x.org/home/ If you’re looking to buy one then join the CRX-UK forum… http://board.hondacrx.co.uk/phpbb2/index.php I personally love the look of a MK2 with a Mugen kit, nice clean lines. As an example one of the traders is selling the following fresh import… Guaging interest on this really, it will not arrive for another 2 months, but if anyone is wanting to secure it with a small deposit then thats fine The spec is as follows: * 1989 car * Standard B16A Engine (160bhp) * Covered 89,000km (55,000Miles) Not guarenteed * Powersteering * Climate control * Half leather interior * GLASS ROOF model * Double din stereo * Etc etc Modifications * Full Mugen bodykit (minus spoiler) * Sprint hart CP-F 15in wheels * Kakimoto Catback system * Momo Race Steering wheel * Lowered? (on what i do not know- could be tein?) * Red plug leads * HKS intake and pipe * Front upper strut brace NOTE - the car may also have LSD, however take it that it does not as i will not find out until it gets here, along with other things such as the suspension it has 6 months Tax 12 months MOT Wheels from the site below could be added for an extra cost www.tegiwaimports.com/usedparts.html Price - £5000 OTR inc VAT

Don't want to go off topic on someone else's thread so I've started my own http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...c=39183&hl= I've had the CR-X siR for over 8 years now, it was completely standard when I got it with the following spec... B16a1 engine with 160PS Power Steering Climate control Glass Roof LSD Since I've had it I've added.. HKS manifold Full exhaust Induction kit Hondata ECU chip HiSpec 4pot calipers with 290mm discs Authentic Mugen kit H&R Coilovers Front upper strut brace Afterburner rear lights HID kit EP3 Type R Recaro seats Still to come.... Sleeved block ready to go in with Wiseco pistons and Eagle rods Garrett T28 turbo (Nissan GTi-R spec) Looking to run about 10-12psi as a daily drive (around 260BHP), with the option of running a lot higher for track. Here are some pics....
  19. I would be interested in this too.
  20. That's my point Lexus should be able to offer you a better deal as they are taking less of a risk, i.e. they have the fallback of getting the car back if you fail to keep up with the payments. The banks on the other hand are offering you an unsecured loan, if you stop paying/can't pay they have nothing to fall back on.
  21. The first free mod i did to my car was to debadge it :)
