Still have not had the balls to install the Aux I bought a few weeks back. Anyway my question is...... would it be possible to take an iPod in car charger strip the bit that goes in the cig lighter and hook it up to the wires for the cig lighter? I would like to do this for a neater install and have both the charger and aux in cable coming out through the ashtray, so when not in use and the ashtray lid is closed it's all nice and neat. Hi all, Is the odometer reading stored on the ECU or the speedo (clocks)? The reason I ask is I was contemplating installing these….. http://www.lumineedles.com/ Now I’ve messed up when doing this on my CRX and had to get a replacement set of clocks, the odo reading on the replacement was higher, but didn’t bother me as I don’t see myself ever selling the car. In any case I’m after a set of these when it’s finally finished for the CRX…. Or this which would be better for my turbo conversion…. Or may have both because I’m greedy ;o) Anyway the chances of me messing it all up are very high, so need to know as a backup plan that worst case scenario I can get a 2nd hand unit from ebay and plug n play, rather than having to get someone to recalibrate it to the correct mileage reading as I’ve only done about 3K miles since new. Sounds like you really did have a rough time with the car. I know what you mean about the depreciation of new cars, wanted to trade the IS200 in after 2 months against a *shock horror* (Scooby), they wanted to knock off £5K, so I told them they could knock themselves off. Have decided to keep the IS for a little while longer so I can at least get my money's worth. Maybe if that EVO X ever comes out :D Ash

Just to add that the dome and map lights for the Altezza are 269. Just got my 239 White LED one through, and it's too big... :( ← Apologies, my error, it is 269 ← I just got the 239 too :duh: obviously too big, but also completely different type. I'm loving the white wheels on a black Lex. Did think about it for my IS as I have it on my black CRX, after seeing that I am very tempted to change my wheels yet again. Some 18" Pro Race would look very nice on a black IS. Ash

I was there too, but unfortunately had to park with the rest of the cattle in the fields :duh: Did wander into the Lexus paddock, unfortunately didn't see any of the owners, Mr Singh, your car looks even better in the rubber! My mate (Mark) was running his stripped out silver CRX with a B20 engine (N/A), I think his best time was 13.8 which was a result. Hopefully next meet I'll get a chance to speak to you guys. Ash

I can part ex my existing wheels, may even be a straight swap as I know the guy at the wheel shop. The main reason is the Lenso has mirror finished lip whereas the the existing one has a dull finish. Ash

I will be changing my current wheels soon (again), I love the black on black look with a touch of bling. These are the new Lenso Stage 1, only in 17's at the moment but that's what I wanted anyway and not very expensive.... Ash
