  1. None of the pics work unfortunately. Ash
  2. Thank you kind Sir! Will give it a go over the w/e. Thanks, Ash
  3. Don't trash the thread just yet, I bought some aftermarket horns recently, too embarrassed to use the standard horn. Just like the horn on my CRX the noise it makes it pathetic! Anyway as there is only one wire on the standard horn, how do I go about installing the new on with two wires? Thanks, Ash
  4. Way better than silver IMHO B) Thanks Oli! Ash
  5. If you're gonna take some off you might as well take it all off and go skinny dipping mate...... ;) Ash
  6. Sign me up for another "Hell YES" :D Ash
  7. If you’re looking to get 200bhp NASP you will most likely need to run high/higher compression. With forced induction ideally you would want to run lower compression, so there is a conflict between the two set-up. You need to decide whether you want to go all out NASP (expensive for small gains) or go forced, you can’t really mix the two together. IMHO I’d go the SC route, more bang for your $$$’s and less complicated. HTH, Ash
  8. Did you install this yourself? Wouldn't mind having that myself. SHAZ & Mr-Lex flash the headlights next time you see me, my parents live in Eastham so I'm there most of the time. Ash
  9. I'm in E12/E16 most of the time and my wife uses the car a fair bit. I always tell her to lock the car when she is driving. I'll keep an eye out mate! A description of the guy/guys would be helpful, don't want to wrongly accuse anyone. Good luck with it all. Ash
  10. When you have the armrest down doesn't that help funnel some through to the cabin? I'm not after sharing my music with the outside world, but want a bit of a rumble on the inside. How much are we looking at for an entry level setup? Thanks, Ash
  11. Hey am, As you are in the business any chance you can sort my sounds out, don't want to loose the sat ladies voice :D Just want some base. Would mean a trip to your ends, but a good excuse to check out your beast/ Thanks, Ash
  12. Welcome to the world of Lex Robin, i was looking into Oli's car when I first started looking for a Lexus. Great looking car and well looked after, Oli is a top guy too. Ended up going for a new IS200 in the end. Enjoy. Ash

  15. Glad to say I’m still here! Could have been so different, for the first time in a year I decide to take the tube to work. Got dropped off at Stratford to catch the Central line, I now know that as my train moved on from Stratford the bomb at Liverpool St. station went off, my train did not stop at Liverpool St as it normally would and then got evacuated at Chancery Lane. Told at the time the Central line had a power failure. One of my colleagues called in very distraught to say that they were ok, but there were dead bodies and then hung up. I was panicking trying to get hold of my brother who uses the same bus route as the Tavistock Place incident. I used to use that route to go to school every morning. Eventually I got through and was relived to know he was ok. I’m now stuck in my flat in Holborn which is 5min from Russell Square and 10min from Kings Cross, will wait till things calm down a bit, the tube is shut down and so are all the busses in Zone 1. Hope everyone else in London is ok from here. Ash
  16. Is it ok for the new kid on the block to come along for an hour or so? Can't stay for long but would love to check out some of your cars. Ash
  17. Not sure if this has been posted before, but may be useful to someone that needs ideas when they are looking for new wheels..... http://www.tirerack.com/upgrade_garage/Whe...05&autoModClar= Ash
  18. Lowering is another item on my long list, but I think I'll enjoy the comfy drive for the time being. Not likely to drive it hard at the moment anyway, need to run everything in slowly. Ash
  19. Well the old wheels were part exchanged for these ones, highest offer over £350 for just the wheels and collection can secure them. These were the silver multi spoke (not 5 spoke) with only 200 miles on them. Yup guessed it right Supagurad! They wanted near £300 for it, got it chucked in for free, but now I can appreciate the price. When I have it washed all I have to do is polish it with a cloth and it come out as if it's been freshly waxed every time!! Ash
  20. Tints are on my list of things to do, but just a light smoke, I have the PIMP tint on my other car B) Ash
  21. Thanks! Well my CRX is called "KIT" - don't ask :D I think the Lexus is a bit more grown up, should call it "Black Beauty" what do you think Ash
  22. Hi all, Well not that new have had the car for over 2 weeks now, I got myself a new IS200 SE with the sports kit. Have done a few things to it already including putting nearly 1K miles on it :o but thats the joy of owning the lex, you just love to drive it all the time. Anyway I'll let the pics do the talking.... More pics here.... http://www.g4crx.com/Lex_Pics.htm Thanks, Ash
  23. Are you talking about the tint film? Anyone tried them before? Ash
  24. Here you go guys, have already done a few bits to it, see if you can spot the difference from the Standard SE lex..... :winky: I'll put some updates on the intro thread. In the meantime one or two more pics here.... http://www.g4crx.com/Lex_Pics.htm Thanks, Ash
  25. Hate low lifes like that :tsktsk: :tsktsk: !!!! Are all the Lexus rear badges stick on, in particular the IS200? I might de-badge mine, rather have no badge than have a load of scratches. Ash
