the second I see an IS200 with a taxi plate on the back of it running around the streets of manchester with a bhangra tape playing and a taj mahal tissue holder on the back shelf (its a toyota, believe me it WILL happen) I'm gonna stick a rag in the tank and set fire to it! (mine that is, not the taxi!) My dad actually didnt buy a merc once cos he's always called them spanish taxi's When I was on about the build quiality of the BMW vs Lex , I really did mean the interior, but thinking about it more the whole car is more solidly put together, I've taken both cars to bits and put them back together, the lexus is good and things go back well, but the beemer, whoooarr! it helps you, things line up that well!.

I have an IS200 and my mate has a new 3 series, hate to play devils advocate, the BMW is far far far better built, it feels more expensive (is more too!) really, and I know im gonna get flamed (dont care) it is a toyota (altezza) with a few sticky on bits, if we're completely honest. Remember before you flame me, I own an IS200, I love it, its my fave car Ive ever had (clodely followed by my Integrale).

Hi all Im still looking for an Is200 Navigation mount, including or minus screen (pref), got my screens in the headrests for the back and my XBOX in, all I need is to fit one in the front and I'd like it to look OEM, if anyone has one or knows where there is a navigator in a scrappers, please let me know Cheers Adeyb

saw a corvette in california once with the plate W A N K E R - you can have anything thats not offensive for about $90 - and in the states that isnt!

these are RCA outputs from the stereo! not inputs into the stereo, if you connected the dension this way, youwould be putting it straight into the amp, and would have no volume control (unless it has its own) unless you bought a switchable pre-amp such as a Rockford Fosgate PA-2 or something U2U me if you have any prbs Cheers Adeyb

here's the wiring (diagram!) Brown is Ground for all RCA's Black - Front Left Blue - Front Right Red - Rear Right White - Rear Left Black- Front Right Yellow does nowt Remote on - tricky unless you mess but you can use the red/yellow with a silver trace to trip a transistorised relay, or you can wire it to your accessory circuit on ignition, it wont power a normal 5 pin relay (we tried) and wont switch the remote on my Phoenix Gold EQ-232 either. of course if you do this yourself, you may blow everything up! my car is a 99 IS200 sport, the one with the cd slot at the bottom, doubt its different but who knows, no liability accepted by me or Graham of Incartoys.com if you mess it up. The pulled out the factory amp and worked out which inputs were which from the head unit, the factory amp needs to be connected still (on power, not audio) and they soldered RCA's on to it, no noise, pops or anything its fantastic, I really didnt want to lose the stock unit. Graham of Incartoys really knows his Sh.. he's been doing my stuff for years.

I have the factory stereo, with RCA's!!!! (no not a line level converter!) front and rear, modified by incartoys.com lets face it, it looks better in the dash than any other stereo could, and I know my stereo's

I'm trying to find a yard with a few IS200's in stock, I need a screen housing or screen from a navigator, preferably in the north west (ish) but I could always order by phone Any help much appreciated. cheers Adeyb

Anyone know if the Dension's support WMA format? I have just under 40,000 tracks in both MP3 and WMA, (windows media audio for those that dont know) many small devices are now supporting this growing format, if it doesn't, are they gonna? Cheers Adeyb

My car is in a bi-jillion pieces and I'm driving around with no door panels in it - ive finally got round to putting tunes in it, I'm not saying what i' doing, you can wait for the pics, but I want to get hold of the factory screen housing from a navigator, (preferably with a broken screen to make it cheaper!:D ) anyone have one or know any scrappers who have one? are they available from lexus without the screen in them? Cheers Adeyb Oh, by the way (and no time to answer, I'm off out all day) I've hacked about and have sorted RCA's (amplifier outputs) from the stock head unit (slot at the bottom) low level, no-noise, no line level converters, front and rear absolutely perfect!!! Hope to see loads of replies saying (i've got a screen thing... when I get back at about midnight tonight.

I pulled up at manchester airport and parked next to and is200, i noticed the keys were on top of the drivers side front wheel, felt like moving it to a different car park to make a point, some people are mad!, if it had navigation, I dont know if I could have helped my self!!:tumble:
