I have read the 1st cat on the mk1 aristo is different from the mkiv supra cat, so i was wonder if anyone on here has found a decat for the first cat? im looking to get a double decat but not sure where to get a decat pipe to replace the 1st cat. anyone help?

0w-40 is no good even in these cold conditions, lowest you should go is 5w-40. This is what the supra guys use and we have an oil specialist on our forum aswell who says the same thing. yup only fully synthetic oil fo the 2jz-gte not the semi rubbish, silkoline 5w40 is the best

ok guys, ive got a set of front fog lights off my mk1 aristo, they are in good condition and come with the bulbs. if anyone wants them PM me, looking for offers over 50 pound please.

i think Gaz meant on the MK2 aristo, altho i reset my mk1 ECU the same way as i did my mkiv supra. Only takes 30-60 seconds.

hey Bry, tbh looks like the kit is meant for a N/A which i didnt know when i bought, but i have a few buyers lined up on the supra forum,so wont lose out too much. This kit will produce about 340-380bhp.

im with adrian flux, not sure where else to recommend mate. The kit is hot property though, got about 4 people who have PMd me since ive put the thread up, either way mate let me know.

i can even arrange fitting of the kit,injectors, mapping of the SAFC2 for 800 by a garage we all use on the mkivsupra forum. im thought either the emanage or SAFC2 would be used to control the fuelling. Not heard of anyone using an aftermarket standalone ecu when they have converted their N/A supra's to turbo.

only bits i can see that is missing is a cheap gasket and the aditional injector controller, or you could just get a cheap set of 440cc and SAFC for the same price as the AIC ( i can get a set of 440cc and SAFC2 for 250). Even comes with the oil feed and return lines. i have had the turbo checked by turbodynamics and it is in perfect working order.

turbo can flow 340bhp if you feel the need to push it the turbo can be modified to flow about 420 by turbodynamics/ or just get a larger turbo

ok well a few other things have come up and now im not going single yet so i'll be selling the turbo kit i bought off mark from tdi not long ago, its hasent been fitted by me and still sits in the box it arrived it. the kit contains the following: HKS GT ball bearing turbo ( internal wastegate), Custom manifold ( has a crack in but can be easily repaired so i have been told), custom down pipe, Large FMIC with piping and HKS BOV welded on, oil return and feed lines. I REALLY wanted to fit this kit as it looks an excellent piece of kit but in the last 30mins i have been told i need to help a family member out so the money to fit the kit is not there anymore. i paid over 1k for the kit but i am happy to accept 800-900 for it, delivery will be sorted out later won't cost more than 30 pound to ship though. Mark will tell you himself the kit cost over 5k when it was new and when you see it you can see why. im not in a huge rush to sell it, if i dont get the price i want i'll just keep it until i can fit it later in the year.

have a look at the fuse box in drivers foot well mate, should be in there if its not in the engine bay fuse box.

I have a weird problem here. When i start the car up from cold and release the handbrake the ABS warning light and the (!) light stays on. One thing that i have noticed is that if i park up after a drive and put then handbrake on then release it the lights go out. It doesn't happen all the time but it is annoying because im sure i can hear the handbrake rubbing on the drivers side rear wheel when the lights are on. Anyone had this before?

ahhh the custom air box eh.....hmmmm. nearly got it finished, have to heat wrap it and cover with a heat resistant blanket.

yup your right its the same set up as the supra.
