  1. I'm almost 100% sure that styling kit cars came with an 18" spare. If I have some time at the weekend I'll see if I can get one of mine off and put it in the boot to check. I will await Parthiban's reply with interest as I tried the same thing and could not get it to fit (no where near). While on the subject what do you do if not carrying an 18" spare when you get a puncture??
  2. I definitely had and still have 225/40/18.
  3. :o just :o I dont suppose you noticed what nick it was in did ya? I know if I call em it'll probably be in "good" nick, only to waste my time getting there to find they've used it as a tea tray. If my memory serves me right I think it might have been damaged a bit and was the flat sports type.
  4. Yep they definitely fit as cars with the styling kit alloys had an 18" spare - it's only marginally bigger than the 17" ones though so it'll probably just be a little bit tighter. No it does not. At least it did not on mine. So I am left with a fully refurbished 18" wheel rim which I am unable to make use of.
  5. The two side lugs should be glued in,with the centre lug being just a locating lug.
  6. Anyone concerned that this is where the airbag deploys on the steering wheel, could be the reason why it is as it is.
  7. Yes Lexus would cover your car if under 7 years and serviced correctly. Cost was around £690. Cover is quite extensive and you normally get RAC breakdown cover free. Warranty Direct would also cover your car for alot less. Premium depends on who you would want to carry out warranty repairs ie. a Lexus Dealer or an independant. You would need to see what their policies cover but I can vouch for the Lexus policy but you may find it pricey.
  8. Yeah it is done. Just have to fit new alloys and then get it valeted. I would also like to lower it a bit but have been advised by Lexus Woodford's service manager not to do it as I already have some issues with the front offside tyres making contact with the arch lining.
  9. He will need to fill 4 small holes in said bootlid but he is welcomed to it free if he wishes to collect it.
  10. Mars

    Is200 Rear Light

They come in different finishes mate so you need to say what finish you are looking for.
  11. sorry didnt see this comment, my full respray cost me £500 because my car got badly vandalised and the bodyshop i used is one that me an my family have used for many years so he looks after us when we need jobs doing.... Very cheap costing me almost twice that
  12. Oh I have them already but I am waiting until the car is resprayed and the spoiler fitted. Should be done by mid July I hope.
  13. Looks good. Mine looks crap at the moment with my 17" alloys.
  14. The Sports Spoiler w/brake lights pop up now and again on Ebay. Usually they are sold together with the bootlid and go for anything from £95 to £116 with or without the bootlid. They are fixed with bolts, clips and double sided tape. I bought one in the last few days and unfortunately it had none of the bolts or clips. So I will be sticking mine down with 3M double sided tape. I am told that will hold it fine.
  15. I managed to get the spoiler off but will need to source a couple of bolts and clips as the holders for them are still instu. Other wise it will have to be a very strong adhesive to hold it securely and water tight to the bootlid.
  16. No I don't think it is the same colour as it came off a V Reg IS200 and mine is a 52 Reg. Anyway I will have to try and take the spoiler off. The problem is that although the spoiler is an original Toyota/Lexus spoiler, whoever fitted it did not use any of the clips or the two bolts to bolt it on. It is just stuck down with some sort of adhesive. It is solidly stuck down though (does not move or wobble at all). So does anyone have any bright ideas as to how to go about this?? Do I try heating it up for instance?? Don't want to damage the spoiler in anyway.
  17. Can i ask how much you paid for it Mars ? They wanted £120 + VAT but managed to get it for less.
  18. A big thank you to Lexynix. I managed to source an OEM Bootlid Spoiler w/brake light(Aero Pack).
  19. Well they are going for around £40 + VAT.
  20. Going to a Breakers Yard tomorrow and let you know what they are going for.
  21. I would tend to agree. I have what I thought was a gray/dark chrome nearside as a spare but looking at it again it may very well be a silver chrome. Will have to look at it in natural light.
